Williamson, WV — More reports of counterfeit money are surfacing in the region. Recently, Pikeville Police recovered counterfeit money, now two separate incidents involving two suspects passing counterfeit currency is being investigation by the Williamson Police Department. Both suspects have been identified, however not publicly, and the United States Secret Service has been notified. Williamson Police advise businesses and local business owners and employees to check any currency they receive and to contact them or their local law enforcement agency if they receive any counterfeit money.
