HENLAWSON, W.Va. — A Logan County man faces several charges related to a domestic violence situation yesterday.

Deputies were sent to Henlawson after the call came in reporting a domestic disturbance between a man and his girlfriend. When the officers arrived, they arranged for the woman to a hospital for treatment of her injuries.

Afterwards, 30-year-old Patrick Sean Ballard was taken into custody. He is charged with strangulation, domestic battery and domestic assault.

Ballard is being held on a $20,000 bond in the Southwestern Regional Jail  at Holden.
